CryplectPlay Basketball — How to build your match-winning lineup
Building your lineup is the single most important factor for any Basketball Game. The CryplectPlay Basketball Game differs from normal Fantasy Leagues. This article explores what you have to keep in mind when building your lineup.
Game built on PAF League NFT Moments
Cryplect Play Basketball is played with PAF League NFT Moments. The most relevant elements of these Moments for the game mechanism are:
- Player on the Moment
- Moment Type or Special Feature Multiplier
- Tier Multiplier
- Season Multiplier
The idea is to create a lineup for each gameday the games occur with minimum 3 required positions filled with Cryplect Moments — Center, Forward and Guard. You only get points for the the NFT Moment and Player performance, not the overall match performance. Each Moment has a Tier, which acts as a multiplier for how many points can be earned with it. The rarer the Moment, the more points you get.
In addition, each NFT Moment has its own Special Feature witch acts as another points multiplier:
- Player (all Common and Rare tier Moments)
- Points (Legendary, Ultimate, Hall of Fame or Unique tier Moments)
- Assist (Legendary, Ultimate, Hall of Fame or Unique tier Moments)
- Rebound (Legendary, Ultimate, Hall of Fame or Unique tier Moments)
You can include Moments from previous season to your team but they have a points handicap.
The combination of Player, Tier, Special Feature and Season Handicap will result in a Moment Total. This is a big difference to conventional Fantasy Sports.
Putting together the lineup
Each Cryplect member can field one lineup per day. Lineups are submitted through CryplectPlay platform. Participants can only play Moments from their collection. It is possible to create a lineup and change players every day between 01:00 and 16:00. Outside this time frame, lineup formation and changing is locked.
You can create your lineup seven days in advance. You can create a new lineup for each day. Participants can mix-and-match Players from different teams or go with a lineup of their favorite team.
5 players on the court and 6th man on the bench:
- 1st slot must be filled with Guard position.
- 2nd slot must be filled with Forward position.
- 3rd slot must be filled with Center position.
- 4th slot may be filled by a Center, Guard or Forward.
- 5th slot may be filled by a Center, Guard or Forward.
- 6th man slot may be filled by a Center, Guard or Forward.
You can already enter your lineup to the competition if you have filled the minimum of 1st, 2nd and 3rd slots.

Final Scores & Prizes
The Game runs every week for the entire season. We follow the PAF game schedule. For every game that your lineup plays on the court during that week, you collect points. At the end of the day, the scores for your team will be added up to a final score.
We also plan to nominate a biweekly winners as a reward for consistency and a steady commitment to the Game
